Development,
planning, implementation and evaluation of energy conservation,
renewable energy and environment programmes in the country are to a
great extent limited by the availability of trained personnel at
research, design and engineering level. Hence there is need to
train engineers/scientists in energy planning, conservation
technologies, renewable energy systems, and their linkages with
environment.
The school's
objectives are to provide trained manpower with strong engineering
